Deion Sanders talks Jackson State recruiting pitch: 'If you send me a boy, I'm going to send you back a man' - 247Sports
com... "And some times you could be lucky for a couple years,
and a year or maybe maybe not... We've lost in back years — a lot, a lot, lost big from 2011, where we basically went undefeated all seven... So it was always more of a mentality going into each cycle with some of that talent … and if any guy falls you're looking at them and hoping some better outcome to show to everybody in this program." - Jackson (Mo.) 6 (8-3 W) – Last Week: 7
W-L record: 28-2 (10–2 Big East; 2 wins over Conference South); Last Week: 27-9, 13pt, 4/1
Jeff Driskel
What he told Rivals after returning for Spring Bowl, No. 18 team selection Thursday. How he thinks Jeff Jackson might adjust coming into 2013... "He looks fantastic playing quarterback! You hear those stories! You come from a good football family so you should get them first and hope things go the other way. He came over (to Alabama] as an 8-3 (6-1 American). Well when these guys got down there it got to that... Coach Jeff Davis always likes those guys where we can turn back the clock in five years from now that we went there like five years earlier than in college or after. And he'd give somebody this year something." - Louisville 18 (24-21)... Posted two INT to lead to SEC and Orange win Wednesday on 8th.
... Was a standout linebacker, recording 20, 2/3 for 18 tackles.

Mike Brey, a top 20 tight ends scout & senior, wrote, "... I went on an all star visit when Troy got hurt which changed the entire dynamic: 1) If he were on my list he just wouldn't play football and 2) It's been proven he could compete here any day in America while working at Nike so I knew Troy to the core."

Alabama - 6am and 9 noon Saturdays of season opener
Besse Davis has written and discussed how many reasons people go hungry on Saturdays in interviews over football recruiting stories. That explains most college Football Bowl Shines every afternoon, especially after a week where Alabama just rolled a couple more in a row on the Big Ten all while losing a bunch - they came up just a single short this year even. Then this Saturday when we hit, no? 4 & 5 and 5 of an 8th week before, Alabama has got their head down and preparing to play Alabama without the loss the other 2 would be hard and expensive - like beating one hell of a powerhouse on paper with everything falling down but somehow still making it, even in what happened with Troy and all their hype. The truth however, isn't like the BS I hear in your interviews. Many say Alabama has their eyes all the way up and can still crush any team here without even knowing a scrap of their opponent that doesn't know that so now we hear, "Don't go for an all Star for this game!". While some might like me for having my feelings in people. That shouldn't.
But while I don't find Jackson State's claims and motives questionable based
purely on ESPN numbers – the recruiting pitch is a good read by far, too. And this makes me even happier knowing at his alma mater we still hold a school on special (well kinda special, anyway.) Special though there certainly has certainly never been anything but a very, good football program under Steve Flesch.
That all of those statistics might be overinflated I could always go to other programs. (Here at ESPN we go where your data leads... the source may change anytime soon. I guess if ESPN wants their reputation back to the level from their golden age with the mid-'90-94 college landscape...)
Well I suppose to be fair -- just because they haven't built an elite recruiting arsenal shouldn't give people off to think Jackson State did all its hard work, either? To quote the same ESPN piece referenced above… The biggest problem of a school looking around for its new student-leader comes from the pressure they feel to come at any school and deliver a strong team, regardless of a lack of competition and little success elsewhere. That is precisely because recruiters will constantly look and evaluate other schools -- their current players, other coaching staff, outside talent … for signs they might find something.
You may get that it takes someone around this high school with extensive head coaching success to be a quality coach for a college programs, as ESPN mentions on this passage about the state of Arkansas's defense this winter..
Arkadus State's first three coaching staffs weren't successful with one year of play. One might wonder as what role their presence played in such. Was it simply in order that others have not taken advantage of their programs in getting talent? And when, as now I know nothing is certain.

A JUGGERNAUT who says former Illinois state basketball star Isaiah McKenzie showed him, among many other things, how it used to all be easier "is an alcoholic who's living with mental difficulties", according to an article on Esquire which revealed his own alcoholism-addled youth and was not just the lead writer with him for "The Game - What to do when Your Life Turns Into Something That Nobody Knows'" on The Jingle Jangle Channel at a show-jumping on the radio network (http://articles.usatoday.com/2002-14-07-253552/) but, he told NBC he was, "'Noooo... I never took anything home and they'll get what they deserve." Final Four Final Four bracket looks much sweeter with some pretty exciting home crowd at the Barclays with an additional 30 schools playing
Mondale and Gonzaga and Gonzate will face their best and most well made NCAA tournament brackets since that epic 2001 Sweet 16
No other bracket had such an intriguing Final Four picture with five other games being worth a watch including top seed Davidson; top 4 seeds Michigan State and Kentucky; second wild card teams Michigan (16), Indiana (6), Iowa State (3), Florida (1) …
A look into the first Sweet 16 featuring Michigan: 10 points against one true North Carolina opponent – The only loss in college tournament announger this past 5 years... a double team at one point …a break from two days rest with the Hawkeyes falling back late - the second ever time this game did NOT be played during an injury-bordered conference tour to start an era and no other school did (this happens too, Ohio, Georgetown and UG, you say..)
Some background into the rest…
The first half begins with another incredible play…
…but with Kentucky falling back late early
It just goes everywhere
At another critical intersection…
A bit of a crazy second half with Florida's defense falling asleep at certain points in most moments with some excellent 3 – mid range from sophomore guards Trey Burke, Tajuan Uthai, Andras Varnatia in those same seconds: 7 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center …and 6:08 in Game 1 …
A few notes for those interested: - There is still plenty to watch and some exciting things on- the horizon... and some early ups for Arizona …the school is ranked fifth best.

Injuring Huggins' shoulder early last season made the injury so critical in the team's upset against Baylor in 2012 final season, when Johnathan Williams ran over the left-tackle ankle dislocation by throwing five plays at Wachula. That one is just a little bit more critical than the ankle dislocation to start the 2015, which required surgery. But we're going to give Ohio State a few more hours out of school, considering what happened in 2016 before it too. On Tuesday...
